Au pair in Spain - assistance to a host family with children
It is cut out for young people who know English B1 and above, knowledge of Spanish will be a plus. Families invite au pairs with good English to improve their children's speaking skills. Such program provides free accommodation and meals within a host family, in which the participants do simple household chores, especially caring for younger kids, receiving a reward of pocket money. On weekends and during a two-week vacation (if the duration is more than 6 months), it is possible to travel throughout the country or even to other states that are members of the Schengen Agreement.
It is allowed for male to participate in. The main thing is a desire to work with children and a good knowledge of English (at least B1). Minimum knowledge of national language will be a plus.
Au pair Spain duration
Everyone can take part in the program for a period of 2-3 months (short-term) and for a long-term period from half a year. You do not need a visa to stay up to 90 days. If the period is more than 90 days, you must apply for a student visa.
